The Scout V2 is very similar in design to the APEX center fire rifle, but without the interchangeable barrel capability. So, for the hunter who wants a high quality single shot rifle in only one caliber, the Scout V2 is an excellent choice. It has a reversible hammer spur and sports a fluted 416 grade stainless steel barrel set in a lightweight, ambidextrous synthetic stock fitted with CVA's CrushZone Recoil pad, and an integral DuraSight Dead-On Z-2, one-piece scope mount. Gun is 22" with threaded end and 3" muzzle brake. This 35 Whelen has a black synthetic stock, 25" barrel with (22" with threaded end and 3") muzzle brake and a stainless metal finish.
